About Me

Thank you for visiting my site!

I’ve been gardening for over 40 years and enjoy sharing the knowledge and experience that I’ve accumulated from friends and family during that time.

Gardening is my passion, but science is my day job.  My background includes a BS degree in Biotechnology and a Masters in Chemistry.  I’m currently working for a major pharmaceutical company as an analytical chemist, specializing in Mass spectrometry.

I am always experimenting and trying new techniques in the garden.  Due to the poor soil conditions and harsh weather, I practice intensive gardening.  I cram in as many plants as possible to get the biggest yield.  The “key” is to ensure you are always enriching and supplementing your soil for maximum growth.

I live in New England, where we have poor soil with tons of rocks!  Despite these challenges, I’ve managed to come up with some pretty creative ways to get a garden to grow!

Please feel free to make comments below, and I’ll do my best to get back to you ASAP.
